It's a Beautiful Day!

It's such an unbelievably beautiful day today! A walk by the lake is most definitely in order.

I have really grown to love this city and lately it's been feeling more and more like home, which is why I'm really quite saddened that there's only a few weeks left before I leave T.O for four months. I've met some amazing people while I've been here and as much as I adore my family, living with them will not be the same as living on residence. I'm really concerned that my freedom will be minimal this summer.

On that note, I really want to go to the beach. I'm just throwing that out there. I'm hoping the lakes are less polluted this year as I do not enjoy showing up to a beach, laying out a towel, taking a stroll, and seeing
dead fish with rotted eyeballs, decaying in the sand. I also do not like wading into the water only to have broken beer bottles slice my foot open. It's kind of a mood-killer. So if you're partying at/near a beach this summer, can you do us all a favour and clean up your mess? If you're allowed to have a good time doing what you want to do, so are the rest of us.

This is all I have to say for now...oh wait, that's a lie! I'm very torn about what to do this weekend as family Easter is conflicting with some previous commitments. I hate saying I'm going to do something and then not follow through, but unfortunately, I do put my family at the top of my priority list and therefore, I'll have to delay my previous plans.

Have a lovely day! Don't let it get away!

P.S I've really gotten into reality shows..like
The Real World and 16 and Pregnant. I realize they're superficial, but come on! I just can't help myself. It's nice to watch other people's drama instead of having to endure your own, right?

  1. I'm pretty sure thats why drinking is not permitted at the beach. That, and I suppose the possibility of drunken drowning. :P
