#4, #5, and #27 :]

Good morning readers! I'm aware I've been rather absent lately, but a lot has been going on that has kept my mind off of blogging. With that noted, if you could all keep my grandma in your thoughts and prayers, that would be greatly appreciated.

So yesterday I took my g2 road test for the second time. I thought I did well, but after backing into a parking space, turning off my car, and receiving a bunch of harsh words from the evaluator, I wasn't so sure. After making me look like a complete idiot, she informed me that I passed. FINALLY! But really, lady? I think she was in power-trip mode, knowing that she could make or break my freedom. Whatever though, I'm done with her for the time being, and I have completed number four on my list of things to complete over the summer!

4. Get my G2

On Saturday, I also completed another two on my list, which are bar hopping and dancing on a stage.

5. Go bar hopping

27. Dance on a stage

I'm on a roll readers! Weeee!

Currently, however, I'm focusing on numbers two and three of my list, which are to get a job that I love and make a lot of money. Sometimes I hate that this town is so small *sigh*. Oh well though, back to the cover letters, resumes, and applications I go! I hope you're all having a lovely summer thus far...and for those of you still IN school, you have my sympathy and good luck with final projects/exams.

  1. Road test examiners are total assholes. I did my G test 3 times (once in Tillsonberg and twice in London) and failed every time because the examiners were dicks. The guy in T-berg insisted I ran a red light, which I'm pretty sure I did not. One in London said I made way too many mistakes and didn't care to elaborate, and the other one failed me for doing something wrong while attempting a left turn in a busy intersection (I'm still not clear on what that was) and for going over the line on the exit ramp on the the highway. And I think one other stupid little thing. Apparently you can't make more than 2 mistakes.

So now my license is expired and I have to start back at G1. I loathe the examiners so much, however, that I'm hesitant to try again. Since I live in a city with decent public transportation, I don't really NEED to drive, though it would be much easier if I did. Plus I don't really have the money right now. As a result I've been carrying my passport around for ID. Probably not a good idea to take it everywhere, but I really have no choice. Le sigh.

  2. P.S. The first examiner in London who didn't care to elaborate on my mistakes, made me drive all the way to Lambeth (I think it was Lambeth) which I was totally unfamiliar with, and do all my city driving stuff there. I booked my test for LONDON. Doesn't that mean I should do it IN LONDON? I mean, I know drivers should be comfortable driving anywhere, but...it was just retarded.
