Focusing on the Past... I-I Mean Future.

Happy Global Wind Day, readers! Today, I am at the Interpretive Centre on Erie Shores Wind Farm until half an hour from now. Though Tuesdays usually drag because they consist of me sitting in this building outside of Port Burwell, all by my lonesome, today went by abnormally fast. The media tour is probably what did it, as I got to meet a lot of great and influencial people, go out for lunch with them, take a picture for the paper, and then record a promotional video for Port Burwell's newest attraction - WiFi on the beach! It was a busy couple of hours, but it certainly has made this day go by much faster than usual.

I was thinking about it recently (last night as I was trying to fall asleep), and I realized that my summer may not be as predictable as I thought it would be. I knew I'd be working, spending a great deal of time with friends, partying, attending wedding(s?), family reunions, and trying to accomplish a list of things to complete before the end of the summer. Basically, I thought I'd be much to busy with my future to revisit my past. This has proved to be incorrect, though it's still much too soon to tell what's going to come of anything. All that I am sure of, is that I will not lose control of any situations that arise, and I will keep things strictly on my terms.

Anyways, I'm reading an incredibly good book right now, 'Relentless' by Dean Koontz. For those of you who haven't read anything by Dean Koontz, I strongly suggest you do. 'The Taking' is one of my favourites. He's very sci-fi for those of you who are interested in such genres.

It's time to close up now, though, so I hope you all have a lovely evening and enjoy this beautiful weather!
