When Life Gives You a Jeffrey, Stroke a Furry Wall

Good day readers! I have been lagging on my list lately, I've noticed. Work has consumed my life, though that's not entirely a negative thing.

I'm flipping back and forth between The Tyra Show and VideoFlow, so this is taking longer to write than usual. Haaaa.

I wrote my first news release the other day, and after going over it with colleagues and my boss, I sent it out to several media contacts and now am going to have the article published in this week's paper! I'm pretty excited, but not nearly excited as my parents, who are getting a tad bit ahead of themselves. Already, they are talking about saving my articles, pictures, and any articles that cover the events I attend, and turning all of these clippings into a scrapbook. I suppose I can't ever say they're not supportive, haha.

Moving on from work, however, I spent the weekend with my best friend, which was lovely and very much needed. We went to the movies and saw Get Him to the Greek and it was simply brilliant. Russell Brand, you are my hero (and new celebrity crush).

I really don't have much to say, now that I've gotten to this point. Haha. If I come up with anything insightful or recall any events that I might've forgotten, I'll be sure to blog. Until then, have a lovely day readers!

Satisfy my Soul

P.S new tattoo(s?) soon!

  1. Well, look at it this way. If your parents save everything for you, and you ever need a portfolio for a job or something, most of the work is already done for you! Haha. :P
