Law of Attraction

I hope you haven't been feeling too neglected lately. This summer hasn't really provided me with enough time to blog about all the experiences I've been having lately. I'll try to sort through them in chronological order:

1. Trip to Toronto!
I went to Toronto for a weekend a few weeks ago to do some test shoots with the agency. While it was an incredibly exhausting and long two days, it was well worth it. I worked with some incredibly talented and renowned people. I was very thankful for that experience. I'm going up on Saturday to do some more testing for a week, so I'm looking forward to meeting even more people within the industry.

2. Full time Work
I've started full time work at GM now, which is exhausting, but surprisingly rewarding/enjoyable. I will admit, initially I found the job to be less than enjoyable. Now, however, I'm actually enjoying myself. The days really do fly by and I think a lot of it has to do with the people I'm surrounded by each day. They are a great bunch to work along side of and I'm really thankful to be on their team. I generally do installation of weather-stripping, as well as installation of the HVAC system in the vehicle. It's difficult work and I definitely appreciate factory workers so much more now that I am one.

Okay, that's enough of the chronological ramble. Two things. Woo Whoo! Haaaa.. What a waste of a numbered list. In all seriousness though, I've been doing a lot of self-reflecting (what else is new?).

I've re-read the book 'The Secret' and I feel as though it was desperately needed. The power of positive thinking and the Law of Attraction really are incredible things of which I've always unconsciously lived my life by. I recommend 'The Secret' to anyone who has not yet read it. It really is possible to be successful in all aspects of your life if you put your mind to it - literally.

The universe is a ridiculously complex force, and as ridiculous as it sounds, it's really easy to make decisions based off 'signs' the universe gives us. Most people ask for a sign in order to help them make a significant decision in their life; however, they make their mistakes when they don't specify what sign they are looking for or they don't ask a specific question. I've used this method to make a few decisions in my life, and so far everything has worked in my favour. Sometimes I'll ask a question and say, 'Okay, if I am meant to do this, I will see one of those motorcycles with the two wheels in the front and one wheel on the back' or 'If I am meant to do this, I will hear a Taylor Swift song.' You can't look for the sign, either. If it happens, you'll instantly realize what it means to you. I know it sounds a bit unrealistic, but I recommend that everyone should try this at least once, just to experience it.

I hope you are all enjoying your summer months and until next time, I hope you try this method of taking control of your life! Let me know how it goes :]
